I want to start an online shop, What is a good niche market?

Ive been wanting to start an operate an online shop for a long time and plan to get started soon. I know all about the ups and downs and how overcrowded the web is with shops. I also know I will find a niche market to have any shot at success. Any ideas?
Chinese Scooter sales are VERY hot right now. You don’t need inventory as they are dropped shipped from the manufacturers hubs. Check www.roketa.com and www.tank.com for more information. You can make about $300 for each scooter you sell. But PLEASE make sure that you make an agreement with the manufacturers to supply parts for the scooters.

How about a book shop (print and audio) for home based businesses and businesses for teens??? This forum sure sees alot of questions which proves the niche exists. You won’t need alot of inventory… just the resources to find the right product at the right price at the right time for the right customers.

I’ve looked on eBay and it seems like electronics, perfume, clothes and baby items are selling well, so you may want to look into those.

electronics. Or target the young ppl 15-25. They are always into the cool things. start thinking that way and u may come out with some other products.

You’re right, you need a good niche, but if someone knows a good niche, they will not hand it over to anyone, especially a stranger.
Good niches are hard to find. You just have to use the tools available like overture.yahoo.com and do your own research.
